Rachel Hardesty
Rachel is the primary owner of buywholesalefloors.com and a second generation owner of Jax Bargain Plywood, originally opened in 1976 by her father, John Kern. After graduation from Bishop Kenny High School (C/O 94), and the University of N. Florida, she transitioned from a lifetime of working “in” the family business to working “on” the family business; Rachel purchased the business from Mr. Kern and transitioned to solely cabinetry, countertops, and flooring. In addition to 3 amazing kids (Max, Layne & Rosie), she has also been blessed with two great bonus children (Meredith and Marcus). Rachel is married to W. Marc Hardesty, local Attorney, 22 year Army Veteran and love of her life. Rachel enjoys fishing, scuba diving, volunteering at local shelters for displaced persons, attending Church, spending time with her family, making spreadsheets and reading. A+ customer service tops her list of ‘must haves’ in carrying on a 46 year+ family tradition.
